Tabletop Spinning Cosmetic Organizer by Lori Greiner

I received this awesome carousel as an early Christmas gift. It was purchased during QVC's Black Friday deals. It fits ALMOST all of my favorite and essential beauty items. I love that my toner, moisturizer, powders, BBCreams, etc...all fit in their own individual slots. I think it was designed beautifully. Althoughhh...if Lori Greiner was to create it again I would suggest that the center opening should stand just a smidge taller so that my Mac Pro Palettes can fit. :)

Cape Cod Chips- Sweet & Spicy Jalapeño

Ok...so I'm not one to review food items but when I found something that I become totally obsessed with I figure it's probably worth mentioning!
A while back a good friend of mine mentioned that she looooved these chips. Knowing how much of a spicy food lover I am she told me to try them. Needless to say... I've been hooked ever since. They're not like your normal kettle cooked jalapeno chips. They are the perfect blend of sweet & spicy.

*All Natural
*A Gluten Free Food
*No Preservatives
*100% Canola Oil

(You can find them at your local Food City Grocery or Roadrunner Gas Stations. 😂😂 Hahaha...it's the only 2 places I can find them in East Tennessee.)

OneRadiant- December 2013

OneRadiant December 2013
Their philosophy: "Find your ideal skincare regimen in three months by joining OneRadiant Box and receiving dermatologist-selected skincare samples tailored to your skin type."

When you sign up, you take a skin survey and find your skin type. Mine is below for an exact sample of how extensive the results are.

My SkinSurvey™ results.
You are skin type DIII, with a focus areas of Acne, Anti-aging, Sun Spots & Tone
Skin Type: Dry
Your skin tends to underproduce oil, and it may be prone to peeling or cracking. For your skin type, moisturization with thicker cream and creamier washes may be beneficial to combat the dryness. This moisturization is even more important during cold weather (winter) and in dryer climates.

A few practical steps to combat dryness:
1) Try a creamy wash.Often times, creamy washes are less drying and therefore more suitable for your skin type.
2) Moisturize with thicker creams instead of lotions. Creams have longer-lasting hydration as compared to lotions.
3) Stay away from gels and any alcohol-based products. These types of products can sometimes worsen dryness.

fitzpatrick skin type: III
Your skin type can produce melanin, which protects your skin from harmful ultraviolet rays, but is also somewhat more susceptible to sun damage. Sun protection and wearing sunscreen on a daily basis is recommended.

Focus Area(s): Acne, Anti-aging, Sun Spots & Tone
Acne:
Your skin has a tendency for breakouts. This is partially determined by your genetic make up, though environmental factors play a role as well. The correlation between food intake, such as greasy foods and chocolate, and acne lesions is controversial, though some evidence suggests that high carbohydrate intake, excessive milk consumption, or high levels of caffeine may worsen acne-prone skin. Hormones and stress levels may also play a role in exacerbating your acne.

Three things are needed to produce a pimple: oil, dirt, and bacteria. Though it is difficult to prevent breakouts completely, trying to eliminate these three factors by gently cleansing 2-3 times a day and targeted therapies (such as other-the-counter benzoyl peroxide to help kill bacteria) generally help to improve skin’s appearance and health. Moderate to more severe acne requires professional attention and possibly prescription topical or oral medications, and visiting a dermatologist is highly recommended.

Anti-aging:
The gradual appearance of fine lines and wrinkles is of concern to many men and women. Fine lines and wrinkles form because of the skin’s natural aging process, along with a variety of factors including gravity, loss of subcutaneous collagen, use of facial muscles, sun damage, and scarring from injury to skin.

It is impossible to halt the formation of fine lines and wrinkles completely, but you can actively fight against them in several ways. Finding a skincare regimen tailored to your skin can give your skin a more radiant and rejuvenated look by optimizing your skin’s hydration, firmness, and tone. Also, vigilant sun protection can dramatically decrease the aging effects caused by ultraviolet light.

An array of cosmetic procedures are also available to fight the aging process. Botulinum toxin (Botox, Dysport) can be prophylactically utilized against fine lines and wrinkles that are visible with muscle movement. A wide array of fillers can be used to diminish the appearance of lines that are visible when your facial muscles are at rest. Laser procedures, such as fractionated carbon dioxide resurfacing, and treatments with heat can help to give a rejuvenated appearance. Surgical procedures (e.g., face lifts) are also effective. This is by no means an exhaustive list, and for consideration of these procedures and more, please see your dermatologist!

Sun Spots & Tone:
You are concerned about dark sun spots and/or skin tone. There are often genetic factors that contribute to both of these. For discrete hyperpigmented sun spots (which some refer to as age spots) on your face, vigilant sun protection should be your first line of defense. Creams that aim to lighten your skin (such as those containing hydroquinone) can also be of benefit. If your skin discoloration is worsening, we highly recommend speaking to your skin care professional, who is well-equipped to help improve your skin’s discoloration. Regarding skin tone, proper skin care can improve overall skin tone and appearance. Please see our article “10 Tips for More Radiant Skin”!
